Our talent
We’re incredibly proud of the achievements of our students - but in many cases, they may not have come this far without your support.
The DMA Foundation currently trains and mentors over 30 students. Depending on their means, they receive varying amounts of funded support from The DMA Foundation. From full scholarships and bursaries through mentoring and coaching to regular access to our health and wellbeing workshops. With your help, we can continue to help them, and many more build their careers.
We hope you’ll be inspired by them as much as we are.

Daisy Sequerra
“DMA means so much to me - it’s a place to learn about all different aspects of the industry, as well as focus on wellbeing, managing our personal lives along with our career, supporting other like-minded creatives and it reminds me every day why I do this! I’ve had an amazing time creating the play as it gives us young creatives an opportunity to break down expectations for teens and hopefully bring light to the struggles we face, whilst empowering people to create change. I remember coming to DMA for the first time and being so amazed at the generosity (and genius!) of Dom and how supportive everyone was. 8 years later and DMA's community is just as nurturing as ever, here's to many more :) I would not be where I am without DMA and The DMA Foundation, they have provided so much support for me during my career and have opened doors I thought were out of reach for me. I will always be grateful for the training and mentoring I've had through them.”

“DMA has both built my confidence and helped me as an individual actor. It is a safe space where I can meet genuine like-minded young actors, who are full of talent, to work on my craft and challenge myself. During the covid lockdown we had weekly classes on zoom. This was one thing that got me and all of us through such a hard time, locked up in our houses without socialising. I have taken part in DMA Elite Masterclass, DMA Social, Platform Course, David Ajala Masterclass and Kharmel Cochrane Masterclass. Everything that I do at DMA comes with a gain. I’m always pushed to challenge myself and my imagination all while remembering that “no one is me and that is my power.”

Elysia Kozinos
“Being a part of DMA has been a real privilege. It’s given me the opportunity to demonstrate creativity and innovation authentically. Prosper myself not only as an actor but as a human. Help me discover what I believe in and where I lie in society. I’ve been able to develop other skills I’ve got a passion for, such as writing and directing. Developing the play has shown that acting and words help us understand what it means to be human. I want my future work to have an impact so the next generation of strong, independent young people in the industry can face fewer barriers that prevent them from excelling in their field. What we watch on stage influences us. Stories are the mechanisms through which we process the world we live in and the place we have in it. This perspective of teenage rage that has been written with truth, compassion and grounded emotion reflects what it means to be coming of age in society today. ”
Elysia Kozinos, born in 2007, is a Greek Cypriot British actor from North London. Since joining DMA Elysia has played the lead role of Nour in the short film, BABA for the British Film Institution, which subsequently won the Iris Prize and signed with Revolution Talent Agency.
